About the Class

The last quarter of the year is an important time for fundraising, with 30% of annual giving happening in the month of December alone. Developing a realistic, strategic, and successful end-of-year fundraising campaign is critical for nonprofits—and also sets the tone for the following Q1.

Join us online September 18th for a Master Class led by the Center for Civil Society, featuring experts from AmPhil, to learn about planning and executing a successful year-end fundraising campaign. This class will go into detail on each element of an end-of-year campaign, including the proper role of mail, email, and social media; how to engage (or not!) with Giving Tuesday, and how to stand out during this busy season. Participants will have an opportunity to work on a draft version of a customized, end-of-year campaign during the session, and are also invited to join a 30-minute personalized consultation afterwards.

This class is open to all nonprofit professionals; nonprofits with new or emerging development teams will likely benefit the most. The class is capped at 40 attendees and limited to 2 people per organization.

Subscribe To Civil Thoughts

Each week, into the ether Civil Thoughts is projected, intent on sharing a smart gathering of a dozen or so pieces and essays and articles that touch on various facets of our civil society and the givers, doers, and thinkers doing some heavy lifting in that arena. They’re nothing more than recommendations, but of pieces and essays and articles (one or two, a few, maybe most, possibly even all) that may prove of keen interest, and that will stimulate your thinking.

No asks, no tasks. No quizzes!
